(Mylk- alternative to dairy milk)
This mylk is great for those who are intolerant to dairy. You can generally use it to replace normal milk in most recipes.
Packed full of nutrients, almond milk contains calcium as well.
Use nut mylks in smoothies, over your homemade granola, in white sauces over lasagne, favourite hot drinks and much more

1 cup of soaked almonds, brazil nuts overnight (or your choice of nuts) if you are using cashews just soak for 2 hours
3-5 cups of filtered water (depending on how rich you like your milk)
2 dates soaked for at least 2 hours (optional)
pinch of himalayan salt
Putting it together
Add drained nuts, dates and water to Thermomix and blend 2min/speed 10
Pour into a nut bag or muslin to separate milk from the nut meal.
You can use the nut meal in a cake or dehydrate it to use as flour
Pour the mylk into a jar or bottle and it will keep up to 3 days in the fridge
