1. My Paper Wreath
2. Old knitting wool pom-pom bunting
A few years ago I was in a huge knitting phase and then I don’t really know what happened but I ended up with a whole bag of wool in my wardrobe so I decided to use them for this really cute project.
I got the idea from here
and I learned how to make the pompoms here.
3. Cardboard Trees
Great Idea for sustainable decorations and these actually can look pretty legit.
Idea from here.
For me instead of buying the wood I didn’t have i cutout my own from cardboard with a little stanley knife.
4. Adding indoor plants for a greener vibe
This not only makes the house look more vibrant and alive but it brings more oxygen into the air cycle in the home.
I dug out some coconut that I’ve hung up with some string and going to put some plants in very soon 🙂
5. Hanging tree illusion
I think I got this idea from Pinterest (or pininterest as our friend Jennette says haha)… I think. There are so many ideas on there I just love it!
I used a piece of fishing wire to tie between two nails that I stuck into the top of the window frames and hung pieces of herbs, leaves and little ornaments that I made to hang to make a shape of a tree.
6. Facial Toner Spritz
This is something that we made at our last Make + Take event that everyone just loved especially coming up to our hot Aussie summer.
Was something similar to this.
These are great little gifts and the perfect way to really personalise and bless someone in a really economical and easy way.
7. Put candles in glasses and some more random stuff
Went to Ikea and bought some pretty glasses.
Went for a walk and clipped some pretty leaves.
Stuck them in a glass with a candle.
It’s as simple as that.
Let us know what you think and what you have dome so we can add it to our list of awesome easy, cheap eco friendly christmas this year.
